The HPE Integrity Superdome 2 server offers a solid foundation for mission-critical converged infrastructures. This course provides an overview of the complex components and practical experience using the enhanced Onboard Administrator (OA) management tools to monitor and manage the Superdome 2 complex, including node and virtual partitions. The course is 50 percent lecture and 50 percent hands-on labs using HPE servers.

• HP-UX System and Network Administration I (H3064S) and
• HP-UX System and Network Administration II (H3065S) or
• HP-UX System and Network Administration for Experienced UNIX®
• System Administrators (H5875S) or

• Properly formed SD2 resource path to address different potential vPar resources
• Authorize vPar configuration and power state control at the HP-UX 11i v3 level
• Create and modify a vPar in the current and alternate parspec
• Access a vPar console
• Boot, reset, and remove a vPar
